Mission:
The mission of the New Members ministry is three-fold:
(1) To provide new members with foundational Christian Education
(2) To welcome new members into the FBC fellowship
(3) To guide new members and converts along their journey toward mature discipleship
Description:
This ministry consists of church members who will assist you through the New Member Process and help you become acclimated to First Baptist Church. These individuals act as initial contacts from the time you unite with the Church through completion of orientation classes. Representatives remind New Members of upcoming classes and can be contacted to address general information questions.
The ministry provides new members with an overview of First Baptist Church, including “Who We Are, and What We Believe.” While sharing the good news about Salvation, Stewardship, Discipleship and basic knowledge of the Bible. This ministry meets the 3rd Tuesday of the month at 6PM
