Preamble
Under the leadership of Divine guidance, the members of First Baptist Church of Linden a Missionary Baptist Church resolve: to adhere to the purpose of God and Jesus Christ through the teachings of the Holy Spirit as directed by Holy Scriptures (Holy Bible); to duly seek His grace and mercy by constantly watching and praying to promote the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Purpose
The avowed purpose of this church is to save souls, to worship God, to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ, and to celebrate the ordinances; to realize Christian fellowship and unity within this Church and the Church Universal; to render loving service towards humankind and to strive for righteousness, justice, and peace.
